On Wednesday, November 25 at the third installment of Moku‘ula by Moonlight in Lahaina, we welcome special guest speakers, Eddie and Mahealani Wendt of Ko‘olau on Maui. They will give a talk on water rights and their experience with water restoration in Ke‘anae-Wailuanui. Mahealani is a writer and community activist and was formerly executive director of Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, specializing in kanaka maoli rights. Ed is a kalo farmer, activist and advocate for Native Hawaiian rights.
